A powerful screen recorder in a simple package

The Screen Recorder
In all honesty, between the two programs bundled with the Screen Recorder Pro, the Screen Recorder itself is the more useful app. It has a small and simple interface, but it’s hiding a lot of powerful features that users will find very helpful. The recording process is very simple and easy. All users have to do is select the recording target for both video and audio and the output folder. The app can record full screen or just record a portion of the screen. It also supports dual monitor recordings. Additionally, users can easily choose the audio source for the recording without having to go through all sorts of crazy and confusing processes. It can record sounds from the PC, from the microphone, or both.
Sadly, the number of supported output file formats of the Screen Recorder is limited, but it makes up for it by having a lot of configuration options that the users can customize for a better recording. Users can change the frames per second and cursor appearance, and resolution of the recordings. They can also add a watermark and set a timer for recording.
The Video Editor
The video editor, also known as the Video Toolbox, is a little less impressive. It has some pretty good features such as a video converter and the editor itself can rotate, crop, and trim videos as well as add effects, music, and watermarks. However, the interface is a bit confusing and difficult to use. It also doesn’t have a timeline or track panel, so you can’t edit combined videos around. It is possible to combine videos, but all it does is stick the videos together.
One great thing about the Video Toolbox is that it can support a lot of file formats. It’s also possible to add subtitles and add opening and ending title cards. It has a lot of potential, but it would have been better if it had an easier presentation. Fortunately, the fact that it’s bundled with the Screen Recorder means the entire process of recording and editing is a lot easier and more streamlined.
Great Screen Recorder, Acceptable Video Editor
Ultimately, the Screen Recorder Pro is a decent software bundle. The Screen Recorder itself is much better than the video editor, but having both of them does have its benefit. It will totally be worthwhile to get it, but the video editor isn’t necessary if you already have one. You won’t regret getting the Screen Recorder Pro if only for the powerful recorder.
